Design weeks from across the region will bring their top creative minds to Downtown Editions.
Dubai Design Week (12-17 November) is collaborating with regional design weeks in a combined effort to connect the events and to raise the profile of the selected designers and the creative communities they represent in their home cities.
The region’s design weeks: Amman, Casablanca, Beirut, and Saudi Arabia, will come together for the first time in Dubai, bringing co-curated presentations to Downtown Editions, the new element within the Downtown Design fair (13-16 November).
The partnership with the regional design weeks seeks to develop design careers for regional designers and provide links to international design audiences. The co-curated presentations are based on a selection of talent producing contemporary products with commercial potential within the architecture and design industry, maximising the opportunity of exhibiting at the region’s leading design trade show. The participating designers and creative contribution to this showcase will be announced in September.
