Zaha Hadid joins the Cure Cubed exhibition.
Cure Cubed 2018 is the 2nd edition of the selling exhibition devised by Artwise in partnership with Bonhams to raise awareness and funds for the Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT). Co-founded in 2005 by Tom Isaacs, the Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) is a charitable organisation created by and for people living with Parkinson’s. CPT has one bold aim – to find a cure for Parkinson’s. CPT funds and supports pioneering research into new treatments which offer real hope of a cure to the more than 10 million people living with the condition worldwide.
Inspired by traditional Chinese puzzle balls, Orb by Zaha Hadid Design contains four concentric spheres orbiting around a solid globe. Resembling the complex connections of the brain, the four layers rotate to create opening alignments. The cube bisects the spheres to expose concentric puzzle inside while a mirror placed behind the piece reveals its hidden angles.
Cure Cubed 2018 will include over 80 leading artists and architects including Zaha Hadid Design, Ron Arad, Anish Kapoor, Phillip King, Foster+Partners, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and Edmund de Waal.
Prices for these collectable art works will range from under £1,000 to over £20,000 and are now available for purchase online until Sunday 11 November here.
