Euroluce reveals the latest in smart, sustainable and human-centric lighting.
The thirtieth edition of Euroluce, one of the major design pillars of Salone del Mobile, Milano (April9-14) will focus on new frontiers in lighting. This edition will feature integrated and intelligent lighting solutions that include the latest in ambient lighting appliances, innovative systems, light sources and technology software, eco-friendly and sustainable materials.
As always, good design will be at the forefront with multiple aesthetic and decorative concepts on show. Minimalism, with its simple shapes and soft colors will be counterbalanced by luminous objects with strong personalities, natural materials and artisan-inspired and uber technical assemblages.
Challenging this sector is the quest for energy efficiency, sustainability and cost reduction. The use of recycled or low environmental impact materials and LED and OLED solutions will be demonstrated, along with intelligent and technological innovations.
Of increasing importance in lighting technology is the growing awareness of Human Centric Lighting (HCL), which analyses the effect of light on people’s emotions, health, motivation and overall wellbeing. Biologically efficient products will be showcases, including therapeutic artificial light that can bring one’s physical and mental demands into alignment by means of three factors: the color and temperature of the light, its intensity and the direction of the beam of light.
