BoConcept launches new collection titled – Kollektion

The hero statement pieces from Kollektion features oversized silhouettes, textural beauty and a new storage direction.

BoConcept launches its much-anticipated AW23 Kollektion, challenging the conventional boundaries of comfort and style within homes. The demand for spaces that offer peace and products that enhance emotional and physical well-being is more pressing than ever. BoConcept is stepping up to meet this need by presenting a collection that aims to transform the ordinary into an experiential space.

Founded in 1952 in Denmark, BoConcept has grown into one of the world’s largest furniture retailer, spanning 67 countries with over 328 stores.  This AW23 Kollektion stands as a testament to their dedication in redefining the essence of living spaces worldwide.

“With the new Kollektion we lean into the power of design to bring a feeling of deep satisfaction”, says Collections and Visuals Director, Claus Ditlev Jensen. “The new pieces are designed to bring sensorial pleasure into the everyday”.

From BoConcept’s new Kollektion, the oversized proportions of the Salamanca sofa respond directly to this desire for next level comfort. Meanwhile, the Santiago dining table reinforces the current trend towards organic, sculptural shapes and tactile materials that also have a soothing effect.

The ‘Buy Less, buy better’ mindset also continues to frame consumer appetite for long-lasting materials and timeless styles. With this in mind, the Santiago dining and coffee tables feature hard-wearing ceramic tops, whilst the Calgary is a piece designed to evolve over the years as the consumer discovers new keepsakes to display or even wishes to adapt its usage to a different room or function.

BoConcept’s response manifests in three key pieces that encapsulate the ethos of the AW23 Kollektion.

Salamanca: Embracing Bohemian Comfort

Henrik Pedersen, the designer behind Salamanca, describes it as a fusion of size, softness, and comfort, urging users to not just live with it, but in it. The 1970s bohemian-inspired design boasts oversized proportions and an inviting “cushion box” structure. Its freestanding or modular options allow for customization, while the super soft seats, with a unit depth of 112cm, are a testament to the pursuit of ultimate comfort.

Santiago: Where Beauty Meets Functionality

Morten Georgsen’s Santiago dining table marries elegance with functionality, catering to the growing trend of open-plan living. The oval-shaped ceramic top, available in a palette of white, brown, and AshGrey, exudes a natural, organic feel. The glossy finish is juxtaposed with bevelled pillar-style legs, available in Dark Oak and AshGrey. Its versatility is evident in two sizes – 230cm and 180cm – providing ample space for both everyday use and social gatherings.

Calgary: Versatile Storage for Contemporary Living

Morten Georgsen reimagines storage with the Calgary system, a blend of functionality and aesthetics. In a world where individuality finds expression through interior spaces, Calgary offers seven fixed models adaptable to every corner of the home. With options for drop-down covered storage, shelves at customisable depths, and drawers, it transcends mere functionality. The metal rails in AshGrey and Matt Black, along with inserts in AshGrey, Natural Oak, and Dark Oak, promise a spectrum of finishes.

Beyond these striking additions, BoConcept addresses the evolving needs of modern living with updates to existing pieces. The Kingston dining table now comes in a compact version, catering to smaller spaces without compromising on style. Additionally, new material and color options expand the realm of customization, with Dusty Green, Dark Oak, and AshGrey introduced across the Lugano and Como shelving systems.

For upholstery, Tuscany, a woven jacquard chenille fabric, offers a tactile finish in seven vibrant shades. Napoli velvet fabric sees new hues in Dusty Green and Sand, while Lazio embraces a cooler Grey tone. Bresso introduces a refreshing Green option, providing a diverse palette for seasonal updates.
