Saudi Design Week will ask how sustainability + design can save the planet.
As excited media sponsors, we looking forward to celebrating Saudi Design Week’s fifth edition in Riyadh (4- 7 October), which will explore the theme ‘Sustainability and Design’. Viewing ‘sustainability’ as having both material and ideological components, it will be explored as a crucial part design processes through curated exhibitions, design forums, workshops, masterclasses and a design market. It will also head to 5 different cities in October through a moving ‘design caravan’ that will showcase unique products done in collaboration with craftsmen and designers as well as showcasing documentaries and the journey. More than 25,000 unique visitors in the city of Riyadh throughout the week are anticipated and over 29,000 visitors in the other 4 cities; Jeddah, Dhahran, Tabuk and Hail. Over 80 participants from exhibitors over 5,000 sq.m. of space.
