Architects, interior and product designers can now submit their projects on the Awards portal
Entries are now open for the 2022 identity Design Awards – and submissions now accepted from design and architecture practices from across the globe with projects in the Middle East and North Africa. In the past, only regional firms were invited to submit their projects, however the latest decision has been made to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of projects and creatives working across the region, regardless where they are based in the world.
This year, we have also introduced a Product Design category, inviting designers to submit their design collections – be it furniture, lighting, collectible objects or home decor pieces. For designers based outside the MENA region, the collections should be produced in the region to be eligible.
Now in its eighth year, the annual edition of the identity Design Awards is continuing with its wider selection of categories that are now split between Architecture and Interior Design, as well the General categories, that include Product Design, Outdoor Design and Project of the Future.
The Architecture section features categories that span from residential and commercial buildings to cultural, commercial and hospitality projects.
The two Interior Design and Architecture sub-sections also each have a Design of the Year category, selected from among the winners of the interior design and architecture categories, respectively.
Our panel of international jury members will be announced soon as well as the exciting new venue for the event. The Gala event is set to take place on the 24th of November, 2022.
The nominations close on 7 October, with shortlist scheduled to be announced on 17 October.
