Sofitel The Palm Dubai recognized for its ongoing environmental efforts.
The 5-star Sofitel The Palm Dubai resort has been awarded Green Globe’s Gold Status in recognition of its ongoing program of minimising its environmental impact for five years. The resort has maintained the Green Globe Certification guidelines since its opening, as determined by independent auditors.
To further their commitment to environmental sustainability, the resort is introducing additional changes to support environmental sustainability. Tesla car models will be available for airport transfers and local transportation, trash will be separated into paper and plastic for recycling and printed newspapers will be limited by replacing them with online applications.
Green Globe is a worldwide certification and performance improvement program developed specifically for the travel and tourism industry. It provides performance standards and assessments to assess progress and ongoing compliance with applicable standards and continuous improvement
