We’re already thinking about the show’s new additions from the region and beyond.
Art Dubai Modern 2019 will move from its long-time position in the Mina A’Salam hotel into the Contemporary halls, allowing a more cohesive reading of the region’s art history. The sixth edition of the show will also see the launch of a new gallery section entitled Bawwaba (meaning gateway in Arabic), located within the Contemporary gallery halls. The section will feature 10 presentations by individual artists from, based in, or focused on the Middle East, Africa, Central and South Asia as well as Latin America.
