Blacklane is the silver sponsor for the identity Design Awards 2023
Blacklane, the leading chauffeur hailing service, which operates in more than 50 countries worldwide recently launched in Dubai with its first all-electric fleet of luxurious Mercedes-Benz EQ vehicles. The cars are driven by a dedicated team of male and female chauffeurs, all of whom work exclusively for the brand.
Blacklane makes safety a priority and as a result launched its proprietary Chauffeur Training Academy in September 2022, in collaboration with the world’s leading trainers. The academy was developed to train all chauffeurs to the highest standards of service, safety, etiquette, and discretion.
The training journey commences with a comprehensive assessment, facilitated through a simulator where we evaluate the chauffeurs’ driving skills and behaviour. Subsequently, they embark on an immersive 2-week training curriculum, encompassing both theoretical and practical components. The program delves into driving techniques, safety procedures, navigation and route planning, vehicle intricacies, and the art of delivering an excellent guest experience.
The brand is dedicated to the concept of continuous improvement, with our chauffeurs actively participating in monthly refresher courses. These sessions not only enhance their core skills but also refine their communication and engagement abilities, while also ensures they remain up to date on industry best practices.
Blacklane offers B2B services as well that establishes safety and service standard benchmarks for corporate travel solutions and events support. The company offers transparent pricing, which is fixed at the time of booking, ensuring that every journey provides consistent service excellence and comfort for a stress-free ride experience.
The company has consistently championed sustainability, becoming the first ride service to achieve carbon-neutral certification in 2017 by offsetting emissions from all rides and business operations. The company furthered its commitment to sustainability by retroactively offsetting its entire carbon footprint since its inception in 2011. Additionally, Blacklane has signed The Climate Pledge, committing to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. This ambitious goal signifies its dedication to moving beyond carbon offsetting, ultimately striving for a future where our operations produce no emissions at all.
The company’s diversified business model offers a range of Chauffeur Hailing services, including one-way, return journeys, airport transfers and hourly bookings as well as inter-emirate travel. Guests have the convenience of booking on-demand rides or scheduling rides for later through the user-friendly mobile app.
