Ian Schrager-designed hotel in Al Bateen Marina is one of 470 buildings globally to go green.
The Abu Dhabi EDITION lit up the Al Bateen Marina in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. Designed by Ian Schrager, the hotel joined some of the world’s greatest icons in ‘lighting up the world green’.
Global Greening is run by Tourism Ireland and in 2020 is bigger than ever before. More than 470 major landmarks and sites across 55 countries illuminated this year to celebrate Ireland and St Patrick. Participating landmarks include The Great Wall of China and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The Abu Dhabi EDITION is situated on the Al Bateen peninsula, close to The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat beaches. The first EDITION to open in the Middle East, it features 198 guest rooms and suites, plus 57 exclusive residences. Guests are offered outstanding views of the Gulf and the bustling adjacent marina.
